Goyah - my new favourite vegetable. They taste quite bitter when raw, but they're really healthy and delicious if cooked right. And speaking of delicious food, Okinawan cooking is wonderful: it tends to be a lot spicier than the usual Japanese cooking, and uses a lot more vegetables. I wonder if there are any Okinawan restaurants near Fukui...
