Is this not just an attempt to make MPV's seem sexy. Its never going to work in a million years. Surely if you have to drive one of these your telling the world that you have more than 2 kids, do a lot of shopping & have baggage to lug about.

Very true, very true. Although in Japan car customisation is incredibly popular, and for some reason, kids seem to enjoy souping up MPVs. It's not uncommon to see an MPV with radial tyres, a wall of headlights and blacked out windows, with an enormous speaker system where the shopping and kids should be.
