"Footival" - a football magazine, "Footival" being a conjunction of "football" and "festival". The Japanese are fond of mashing words together to make them easier to say: one of the most common ones is "pasokon", which means "personal computer" (or "pasonaru konpyutaa" in Japanese). Bearing this in mind, can anyone guess what "wapuro" means? (Clue: it's a shortened form of something to do with computers.)

A girl once told me she wanted my "meado." I was horrified to consider that this kind, innocent, young girl was into bukakke. But much to my relief, when I got out my secret japanese conjuntion decoder ring I found out that far from requesting my "merde" (french) she wanted my EMAIL ADDRESS. meado. absolutely ridiculous. It's a shame that by that point I had already tried to oblige her on what i thought the original meaning was. She still wont speak to me.
