The Art of Mochi Making

In amongst fighting with children, we actually had the chance to make some mochi whilst we were in Echizen. It was a lot of fun, but pounding the rice with that big wooden mallet was damn tiring - and the fact that I was hungover from Sam's birthday party didn't help either.
