Flying the Flag

I think living in Japan's made me go a bit more patriotic than usual. I bought a union jack wristband the other day, but when I got home I suddenly wondered whether or not I would have bought it if I'd been living in England. I came to the conclusion that I probably would have, but I'd have told myself it was "ironic".
