Now this is what I call a sandwich - Wensleydale Cheese and Caramelised Carrot Chutney. Get in. And look! They haven't even cut the crusts off! (It's a little known fact outside of Japan, but all sandwiches sold through convenience stores here have the crusts cut off - and no-one knows why. Possibly they're aiming them at vicars who need to throw a tea party in a hurry.)

i forgot about M&S, only an hour ago i saw one of my German house mates eating a pumpernickel sandwich (pumpernickel inside a white roll that is). pumpernickel is actually bread, so she was eating a sandwich with a bread filling... Germany eh?

I've had that sandwhich and can agree that it is mighty fine.

Jas, bread on bread is just weird, you should tell that lady that it's just not cricket to mess with the rules of a sandwhich!
