jasoni here i saw a program on the bomb the other day - a lot of grim things happened in the last century. It's hard to believe that the air and rain there are absolutely fine now.

Apparently the residual radiation from the atomic blasts in Nagasaki and Hiroshima is absolutely miniscule - there's an explanation here
